Resources can be purchased using PayPal or Stripe. Selecting Stripe at Checkout will allow you to input your card information. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
To apply a coupon, tap the cart icon on the bottom right of the screen and tap Checkout. From here, find the second item on the screen which is the coupon code entry box.
All resources will download as digital PDFs. The resource is available for download instantaneously after purchase is complete. Once the transaction process is completed, you will receive an email with links to your download(s). You can also access your resources by tapping Shop –> My Account –> Downloads.
If the resource that you purchased includes a digital component (Google Slides, Google Forms, etc.), you can locate the links to these digital products within the Teachers Notes section of the PDF file.
If you did not receive an email with the link(s) to your download(s), there is good news. You do not need an email to access your files. Instead, you can head to Shop → My Account → My Downloads to access your files.
If your account has been created using your school-issued email address and you did not receive an email, it is likely that district firewalls have prevented the email delivery. I recommend using a non-school related email for your account to prevent this issue.
To access the digital component (Google Slides, Google Forms, etc.) of your resource, open the PDF. Within the Teacher Notes section of the PDF, you will find clickable links to the digital resources.
Printers can be finicky, but don’t worry, The Teacher Next Door’s PDF resources are all enabled to be printed.
First, it may sound silly, but try unplugging and plugging back in your printer. This solves 90% of printing problems.
If that doesn’t work, be sure that your PDF reader is up to date. I like to use Adobe Acrobat Reader. It’s free and you can download it here! (https://get.adobe.com/reader/) Because it is software, it does need to be updated from time to time. This can help resolve many issues, including printing issues.
If you’re printing from school, you may need to reach out to your district IT person for any additional printing issues not listed here.
When you purchased a resource, you created an account using an email address. When this account was created, you were asked to confirm your account via an initial email. Check your email using the search “The Teacher Next Door” for this email.
To reset your password, tap Shop → My Account. From there, you will see a button to reset your password. Tap this button and enter the email address used when your account was created. An email will be sent your way to reset your password.
Yes! You can change the email that is associated with your account. (Why would you want to do this? If you’re having deliverability issues for the products you’ve purchased due to strong school district email filters, then you may wish to change your account to your personal email address.)
To do this, log in and tap Shop → My Account → Account Details. From here, you will be able to change both your email and your password.
