This End of the Year KIT (Keep in Touch) Letter Writing Activity is fun for your students and meaningful for those who receive these special appreciation letters. Your students will be able to practice friendly letter form, while they spread a little kindness, as they write a thank you letter to an adult of their choice who works at their school (custodian, yard duty, para, cafeteria worker, principal, office staff member, or even another teacher).
This is really a meaningful activity for the kids and for the recipients. Each year the recipients of these letters tell me that the letters really touched them or made their day.
